I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist who trained at City University, London. I have worked with clients from diverse backgrounds, spanning the life course with a full range of presenting problems, including clients with severe and enduring difficulties. I have a variety of specialist knowledge and experience in the areas of adult mental health and health psychology within the NHS and the voluntary sector.
I work collaboratively with adults, young people and couples, both individually and in groups and am experienced in using a range of therapeutic approaches, which I tailor to the clients individual needs. My special interests including mind-body issues, difficulties in adjusting to life stages including becoming a parent, relationship difficulties and work related stress. I am currently training to become a cognitive analytic therapy (CAT) practitioner. I maintain a commitment to a collaborative, professional, respectful, empathic and sensitive approach in my practice.
